Float Away

Two reasons that I say this girl was floating away this weekend.

One. I got her her first swimmy toy. An inflatable baby seat. Which. She. Loves. My no fear child loved the freedom of floating not in momma's arms. I, on the other hand, was a nervous ninny at first. That is until I saw how very safe she was and how much she was loving being in it. I even relaxed enough that I let my cousin Adam take her for a little spin around the pool in it. I know. I'm ridiculous. Eh. She doesn't know that about me- yet.

Two. Her all time favorite thing right now is water. Swimming in water. Bathing in water. DRINKING water. If I'm drinking out of a cup, she wants to be too. So, anytime I pour myself something to drink, I make sure I've got a cup of water for her too. No bottles or sippy cups for her.  She prefers a big cup like mine. I swear she would drink the whole thing if I let her. Don't freak... I don't! But, seriously... she would.

She tried to float away. But, don't worry. She's still here, and she's still thirsty. :)

So, besides these two things and some serious family time overload, that was our weekend in a nutshell. Swim. Water. Family. Done.
