Its Good to be a MomMom

I love being Little Miss' Mommom. I know that sounds cheesy, but I seriously do!

It just doesn't get much cuter than this.

There is absolutely nothing in my life that has more reward than waking up to this face calling me "Mommom." I wouldn't trade my life with her for all the money in the world. And that is a true statement, peeps. True. True. True.

I mean, look at this little face that I'm blessed to call mine.

Cheyanne, you make being a Mommom the best job in the world. On our worst days, we are still the best Mom/Daughter team that I could ever ask for. Thanks for being mine, and thanks for letting me be yours. You make Mommom's Day a day to remember.

And, of course, I couldn't enjoy MomMom's Day without this sexy guy in seersucker and pink … (have I mentioned how much I love him?)

Thanks Giant for a fantastic Mother's Day out and about in downtown Charleston. Despite the bleh weather, a delish brunch at Toast and cruising the market were all I wanted. Score one for you big guy.

Happy MomMom's Day to Me!!

And, of course, I need to send a huge Happy Mother's Day ball of love to my own Mom!

She is the most loving, patient, and understanding person I've ever been blessed to know. She is a Godly example of a mother's grace and southern gentleness. She's never met an enemy nor a stranger. And as the Giant likes to say, "Denise is a saint." Yep, that about sums her up. I love you Mom. Thanks for letting me learn from the best.

She went to Jared's

And wow does my little girl have good taste! (I think Hubs might have had a little something to do with this all the way from Oklahoma). I am the proud new owner of this little sapphire and diamond beauty!

Photobucket

::Sidenote: I had to stare at this big box for a whole day, unable to open it, pondering what all could be waiting for me in it. Great things come in big and small packages!::

AND, she also bought me (with the help of Nana) this little number as well!

And then there was also these from Chey and Daddy.

What did I do to deserve such a great daughter- and husband?! I am so blessed. The house smells wonderful from my beautiful roses, I've got bath salts for the next time I have two seconds to myself to actually enjoy a relaxing bath, and I'm decked out in new bling. Awesome!

Of course, Aunt T's chocolate covered strawberries sure filled my sweet spot for the weekend. Mmm.

So overall, it was a pretty great day to be Cheyanne's Momma.

Look at all these Mommy's I got to spend the day with. Beautiful ladies. That's our 4 generations right there plus an aunt for good measure.

Thank you Cheyanne, Hubs, Mom, Trimble, and everyone else here and away that helped make my first Mother's Day so memorable. Mom, thanks for being the example of a mom that I want to be like. You have taught me about the true love only a mother can give. And Cheyanne, you make being a mommy easy. You continue to teach me new things everyday, and I am lucky to be your Momma. I love you to the moon and back my baby. And my Hubs, nobody loves me like you do. Thank you for continuing to share with me this beautiful thing we've got going called love. I fall more in love with you every single day, no matter how far away you might be. Never apart my love.

So, to all you Mothers, Godmothers, Grandmothers, Pseudo-mothers, Stepmothers, Mother-in-law mothers, Soon-to-be mothers, One-day-will-be mothers, Never-gonna-happen-unless-hell-freezes-over mothers, Happy Mother's Day!!!
