Now I make no qualms about that fact that I hate snow. Hate is a strong word and I mean in the most literal intense way. And snow in April? Uh, h-e-double hockey sticks over here. However, when you have a 2 year old little girl who can't even lay down to take a nap because she just so excited about her first snow, its hard to truly hate it.
One day of snow never hurt anyone I guess, except for maybe the bugs that were planning on biting me in a few months when it gets warmer out. And, really, they can all gladly die for that matter! Bring on the snow!
Love this picture. Zoom in and you can see my lonely snow girl lapping up the snowflakes as they fell.
I taught her that :)
We made her first snowman, which was the first thing she said she wanted to do when we got outside, that and see Santa. This girl of mine.
We threw snowballs. For some reason, I was the target of her first snowball battle. Uh, have I told you that my girl has a serious throwing arm?
She started to get cold, but was not thrilled at the idea of going inside away from "her snow" until I bribed her with hot chocolate. She changed her mind before we finally got inside though and preferred juice to hot chocolate. Crazy snow child of mine.
I am so glad that Nana on a whim scooped up this snowsuit last year at Goodwill "just in case." I can't believe it fit. Thank you for the planning a year ago God.
