OK, so Who needs them? Boxed cookies that is. I mean, who needs Grandma Tollhouse or that old Crocker lady when you have chef Molly at your service? OK, maybe that is taking it a little bit too far, but I've been on a roll- from scratch. I've found that baking bug recently that I've been searching for my whole life. Maybe its because all I seem to want these days is sweets, or maybe its because I'm trying to challenge myself in that big scary kitchen room, or maybe it is because my husband not so subtly "hinted" that other airmen were getting loads of yummy baked goods from home and it sure would be nice to get some too...

So far I have made

Honey Bran muffins

Monster cookies

and now the latest.... Valentine's sugar cookies!

I stayed up until 1:30am last night making these babies. Don't they look good? Sugar cookies from scratch. Icing from scratch. Decorating geniousness from scratch. I'd say somebody has a very loving wife.

So, whats next on the list of Chef Molly for her giant Airman? That is to be determined... my brain is still catching up from my lack of sleep.
